2008 CAMFA News Archive

An e-mail from a parent (Nov./08):

I am a parent of a 10 year old  who has just completed his 4th year of Minor Football. He has played 2 years of Squirt and 2 yrs of Mosquito. My purpose in writing you this letter is to say thanks for providing this program. My son is involved in soccer, golf , and hockey as well. I cannot say enough good things about the football program. I tell every parent I talk to about what a great thing you guys have going. It is by far the best organized, the best coached, and the best value of any sport in town. This year, our team made it to the finals (after not losing a game in 2 years) and lost in a close game. After the game, nobody cried, nobody blamed anyone else, everyone gathered around and cheered as awards and medals were handed out. I can tell you its not always the same in other sports. To all the coaches, officials, volunteers, etc, I say job well done and we will see you back on the field next year.
