Junior Black Kats 28 Northside Junior Lions 13
The Lions opened up an
early 13-0 lead on TDs by Jason Hearn and Connor Sturgeon. Jon Gahan ran for a
one point convert.
The Black Kats closed the gap
to 13-6 just before halftime when QB Tyler Fox connected with Weston Durling on
a 10 yard touchdown pass.
On the opening kickoff of the
second half the Kats Oliver Dee recovered a fumbled and returned it 5 yards for
a TD. Jeremy Boutot added the convert to put the Kats ahead for the first time
14-13.
Matt Spence and Tyler fox
scored fourth quarter touchdowns for the winners. Boutot notched another convert
to make the final score 28-13 and give the Black Kats the inaugural 8 Man
championship.

Semi Final
Northside Junior Lions 31 Oromocto Junior Blues 30
Lions QB Jason Hearn ran
for two touchdowns and a convert. He also threw two touchdown passes to Mitchell
Stevens and another to Brett Hatheway.
Charlie Jones rushed for three
Blues TDs. Mitch McCoy added another as well booting three converts.

Tyler Stewart and Patrick Healey had the Blues TDs.

The
Knights scored first and added a 2 point convert for an 8-0 lead. Stephen
Jones returned a punt for a 80 yards for a td and Jason Hearn passed to Dylan
Whenham for the 2 pointer to tie the game at 8. Connor Sturgeon ran for a
20 yard TD to put the Lions ahead. Hearn passed to Dylan Cole for the 2
pointer and it was 16-8. Hearn ran for a 25 yard TD and the convert
attempt failed. Score was 22-8. Jaden Rook passed to Dylan Cole for
a 15 yard TD, Dylan Whenham rushed for the convert. Wade McLaughlin then
picked off a pass and returned it 50 yards for the TD.

Landine on a pass for a two point convert. Luke MacMillan ran for three more six
pointers. Matt Spence and Nick MacDonald had rushing touchdowns. Spence and
Martin Poirier ran for two point converts.
