The Kats only touchdown came on a touchdown pass from Marc Belliveau to to Mike
Bennett. Seamus Swanick and Jeff McCormack added singles. The game was tied 8-8
at the end of the third quarter.
Kyle Currie rumbled for three touchdowns to lead the Kats to their third
consecutive provincial championship. Alex Child had the other touchdown and
Seamus Swanick converted all four majors.
The Black Kats broke open a tight game in the second half on their way to the
win. Marc Belliveau scored two touchdowns with Mike Bennett and Kyle Currie
adding one each. Seamus Swanick booted three converts and the Kats defence
added a safety.
Kyle Currie paced the Kats with two touchdowns while Marc Belliveau, Vijai
Krishnaswamy and Jared Connors had one each. Seamus Swanick was good on four of
five convert attempts. October 21

Area Semi-Final Brent McGrath, Tyler Wyman, Nolan Gervais and Monty Paul all scored touchdowns for the winners. Wyman converted all four majors. Justin Demerchant had the lone Blues six pointer. Adam Gillan converted. October 14 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 48 Simonds Junior Seabees 20 Brent McGrath paced the Lions attack with 4 touchdowns. Jared Connors, Kyle Currie and Tyler Ackerson each scored two
touchdowns while Brandon Treadwell and Mike Bennett had one each in the Kats
romp. Treadwell was good on 6 of 8 convert attempts. Eric Smith, Derek Squires, Darren Squires and Josh Marsden each had a six pointer for the Blues. Adam Gillan added 3 converts. The Oromocto defence scored a safety. October 8 Fredericton Junior Black Kats 14 Hampton Junior Huskies 14 In what might have been a preview of the provincial semi-final game; two undefeated teams; the Hampton Junior Huskies from the Fundy Minor Football Association and the Fredericton Junior Black Kats from the Capital Area Minor Football Association clashed and settled nothing. Jared Connors and Kyle Currie each scored a touchdown for the Kats and the Black Kats defence added a safety. October 7 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 48 Harbour View Junior Vikings 6 Dylan Hughes rushed for two touchdowns and Robbie Parker, Monty Paul, Bruce Canning and Ben Cornford had the other Lions majors. Jared Connors rambled for three touchdowns and Kyle Currie and
Jared Hale had one each in the Kats romp. Andrew Robertson added a convert. The
vaunted Black Kats defence limited KV to one first down. Eric Smith paced the Blues, scoring one touchdown on a run and another on a pass from QB Derek Squires. Squires and Mikeal Senecal had the other Blues majors. Adam Gillan added a convert. October 3 Fredericton Junior Black Kats 26 Oromocto Junior Blues 14
In by far the best game so far this year the Blues used their air
game to give the Black Kats all they could handle. The Blues struck first when
quarterback Derek Squires hooked up with Jeff Squires on a 60 yard touchdown
pass. Fredericton evened the score on smashmouth running back Kyle Currie's 30
yard romp. The Black Kats took a 12-6 lead going into halftime as Blake Lovely
got in behind the Blue's defence and hauled in a 30 yard pass from Kats QB Marc
Belliveau. September 30 Oromocto Junior Blues 56 Harbour View Junior Vikings 0
The Blues used a potent air attack to rout their opponents.
Quarterback Derek Squires threw two touchdown passes to Eric Smith and one
each to Shawn Morgan, Keegan Foley and Kyle Levesque. Squires, Eric Smith and
Collin Samson all rushed for majors. Adam Gillan added four converts.
Wes Price rushed for three touchdowns and Kyle Currie, Marc
Belliveau and Jared Connors had one each as the Kats routed Saint John. Seamus
Swanick was good on five of six convert attempts. The suffocating Black Kats
defence added a safety and still has not allowed a point this season.
Quarterback Nolan Gervais hooked up with Tyler Wyman on a 100
yard touchdown pass and run play. Dylan Hughes scored on a one yard plunge.
Wyman also added a single. Fredericton Junior Black Kats 26 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 0 Kyle Currie rushed for touchdowns of 20 yards and 10 yards to lead the Black Kats to victory. Quarterback Marc Belliveau threw a 20 yard touchdown pass to Vijai Krishnaswamy and Wes Price returned a blocked punt 30 yards for a touchdown. Jared Hale added a convert. The suffocating Black Kats defence has yet to allow a point this season. September 23 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 31 Saint John Central Outlaws 0 Brent McGrath ran for two touchdowns and quarterback Nolan Gervais hooked up with Monty Paul for two more. Tyler Wyman converted three of the four touchdowns and Alden Pezerovic added a single. Fredericton Junior Black Kats 18 Simonds Junior Seabees 0 Wes Price returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown to lead the Black Kats to victory. Quarterback Marc Belliveau passed to Nick Haley for the other touchdown. Jared Hale converted both majors. The Kats defence also scored a safety. Hampton Junior Huskies 8 Oromocto Junior Blues 7 Hampton scored with less than a minute remaining to edge the Blues. Mikael Senecal had the Blues touchdown and Colin Sansom ran in a convert. September 19 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 32 Oromocto Junior Blues 0 Brent McGrath ran for touchdown runs of 50 and 30 yards. Quarterback Nolan Gervais scored on a five yard run and also hooked up with Tyler Wyman on a 30 yard touchdown pass. Wyman converted all four touchdowns. Nolan Gervais scored the Lions touchdown on a one yard plunge.
Tyler Wyman kicked the convert.
Eric Smith scored the Blues lone major. Wes Price scored the other major on a one yard plunge. Jared Hale was good on two of four convert attempts. September 9 Fredericton Junior Black Kats 16 Leo Hayes Junior Lions 0 Kyle Currie lead the Kats to victory by rushing for a touchdown and blocking a Lions punt that was recovered for a touchdown by Alex Childs. The Blues outlasted the Lions in a shootout. Eric Smith paced the winners with
two 60 yard touchdown runs. Kyle Levesque, Colin Sansom and Mikael Senecal each
