About the Team

Girls tackle football was started in 2008 with two teams called the Outlaws and Spartans. In 2010 permission was given by Fredericton High School to use the Black Kats nickname and colours for one of the teams. The team is operated by the Capital Area Minor Football Association. It is not operated by Fredericton High School. Girls tackle football is not a New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association sport.
