                                  Executive Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Jeff Murdock, Kelly Murdock, Terry McIntyre, David Blanchard, Andrew Allaby, Michelle Harrison,  Justin DeMerchant, , Steve Drisdelle, Shawn Kitchen  

Absent:  Ray Muir, Marion McIntyre, Joni Blanchard,  Kent Murphy ,  

1. Presidents report 

Minutes for last meeting were accepted (not available but were sent out via e-mail).

CAMFA has purchased a Laptop computer

AGM will be 23 Jan at the New Sport Complex in Fredericton . Minutes from last AGM are missing.

The Mens and Womens program will be totally independant from CAMFA starting this season , CAMFA will provide gear only.

All positions are open for election.

CAMFA has a verbal agreement with UNB to assist in the purchase of a score clock in the amount of $3,500.  

2. Registrar’s report ;  

Terry submitted the report with notes to the following additions in the budget: (excel sheet attached to report)

Two new Peewee teams possible; Aroostock , NB and Ecole St Anne

Splitting of the Black Kat Bantam program  where players will continue to play based on demographics, and the Middle School program they played on.

Funding for a summer U17 girls program, and if it is possible.  

3. Fundraising report  

Kent Murphy absent, no report  

4. Equipment Managers report  

Jay Madore Absent (No report) will be stepping down.  

Shawn Kitchen ( Fredericton )  Has made great gains in establishing the new gear room in the North Side Sports Complex. Most of the gear is how in shelving . Some of the pant need to be confirmed as to repair or disposial.

The president stated that he would like to see a security wall installed at the Hazen centre site.  

5. Coaching Coordinator’s report:  

Football PEI is have a QB day with Matt Dunigan 9 Feb. Dave will attend for Football NB.

6-7  March at OHS there will be a QB/receiver camp 9 am to 4 pm. Open to all.

5 and 12 April , Noon to 4 pm will be indoor sessions for at CFB Gagetown field house for Spring football programs.

A Level 1 coaching course will be conducted 11-12-13 April in conjunction with sessions.

A level 2 crse will be planned with FNB as the price is too high to run one independently.

FNB will run three Talent ID Camps 1 march Moncton , 16 March Fredericton , and 29 March Saint John.

7. Treasurer report:  

Presently, $1,000 in account, but still need to pay put bursary money.

Fee are recommended to be adjusted:

Motioned that all programs should be adjusted to meet costs and align program costs as follows:

Womens program: $125 to $150

Mens program $150 to $175

All Spring programs $80 to $100

Fall program fees shall  currently remain the same.  

Currently the Bottle Drive is our only major fund raiser program

Budget will be tabled at AGM 23 Jan.  

Old Business:

The practice jerseys issued during spring will no longer be a keeper, it will be part of the return gear.

Terry reviewed outstanding equipment that was still outstanding and a call notice will go out for return by the AGM>
