1. Presidents report

 Spring Program

The spring program is going well.  The 17U team traveled to PEI for a scrimmage.  One coach and one parent expressed their disappointment as they had had other expectations.  In order to prevent such occurrences in the  future  the coordinator needs to do a little better job of communications.  The 17U equipment will be gathered at the last game.  Abs will ask J amie Edwards to see if the Delta would launder the uniforms for us.  Equipment return for all other age groups will be on Monday June 1 at Willie O’Ree and Hazen Centre.  VPs are to see that these are appropriately staffed.

2. Registrar’s report

T. McIntyre by email

As of April 23 our registration numbers are shown below.

The numbers in brackets are the final numbers from 2008.

11U-67 (65)

13U-91 (75)

15U-72 (64)

17U-42 (56)

Total-272 (260)

We are up 5% over last year despite a 25% drop in 17U.

3. Fundraising report

Bottle Drive

The trucks are booked and Shawn has the required bags for the bottle drive.  As the redemption centre does not want us to have the event if it is raining,  the decision to go with it or cancel must be made on Thursday morning so that the truck rentals can be cancelled without penalty. Joey Smith will be the coordinator for Oromocto and the gathering site will be the Hazen Centre.  We are still in need of a coordinator for the Southside.  Abs will ask Marvin if he will take it on.

3. Fundraising report  cont’d

T-shirt sales & 50/50
