Absent:

Marvin Nash, Norm Sequin, Rick Forrest, David Blanchard, Michele Coleman, Shawn Kitchen, Lisa Fagan, Steve Drisdelle, Steve Spears.

 

Meeting called to order 8:00

 

President’s report:

 

The Bantam Black Kats are Provincial and Maritime Champions and the Bliss Carmen Eagles are Provincial Champions. Congratulations to both teams

 

Cheryl O’Leary, manager of the Bantam Black Kats requested purchasing the Kats game jerseys. The executive agreed to sell the jerseys for $40 each and minimum 20 ordered. Moneys collected will be used to purchase replacements.

 

It was discussed CAMFA’s financial assistance/obligations to CAMFA champions or spring programs that move on to Provincial playoffs/exhibition games and Maritime championships/exhibition games ie buses, food etc. Currently football registration is based on funding the league play. The executive will review proposed policy at the next meeting.

 

Note: Football NB will provide $1000 for teams competing for a Maritime championship

 

2. Registrar’s report:

 

Registrars tackle registration files were pass on to Jodi Steeves

 

3. Fundraising report

 

Sports Investment Dinner

 

- There are 8 tickets remaining for the dinner.

- Several items for the auction still to be obtained

- Currently there are 4 items for the live auction and 20 items for the silent auction
   

4. Equipment Managers report

 

Approx 16 sets of gear to be collected. Members of the executive to obtain prior to next meeting

 

5. Coaching Coordinator’s report:

 

There will be coaching courses available in the new year. MTF

 

6. Official report:

 

No report.

 

7. Treasurer report:

 

Treasurer provided updated financial reports for the executive to review. The report will be provided by email

 

8. Round Table:

 1. Donna Cormier will host a Xmas party for the executive and their spouses. 12 Dec @ 6pm

 2. Portable uprights at Chapman field will remain there for the winter.

 3. AGM scheduled for 27 January 2010 at Willie O’Ree Place . There will be a free draw for a spring or fall registration during the meeting.

 4. Tanya Kitchen requested an email account be created for online registration. CAMFA will look into a workable document to send out for spring registration.

  5. CAMFA will review proposed changes to the Constitution next meeting.
