Take away around $600 for 2 U-Hauls and$110 for gas (U-Hauls).

Fall Bottle Drive Result Comparison

2009-$5,073
2008-$5,162
2007-$8,372
2006-$6,627

We budgeted $5,000 for the 2009 year, ie spring and fall drives combined. We made $500 in the spring from donations after the bottle drive was cancelled so we made about $5,600 for the year which exceeds budget by a small amount.

Winners of the draws for free registration were posted on the website.

Sports Investment Dinner

CAMFA has been invited to participate in the Fredericton Sports Investment Dinner on December 5. Due to the scale of the undertaking, the Red Bombers and the high school teams will be invited to participate and will share in the selling of raffle tickets and donations of auction items.  Proceeds will then be shared according to the value of the auction items provided by each group.  CAMFA will have 25 tickets at $75 each to sell and the CAMFA auction share will have to provide (4) – 400$ and (12)-$50 live auction items.

Tickets are available for selling.  Letters have been prepared to use for soliciting auction items.  Jodi has submitted a list of potential auction items for ideas and several more ideas were considered.  Marion donated several items for the auction.  Marion suggested several craft items which can be hand made for auction items.

Action Items:

Andrew to ask Jeff Murdock to contact the Molson rep. for auction item(s).

Steve to ask George Long for a photo from the first Red Bombers football game in 30 years.

Dave to look into Base Gagetown Simulator potential.
