Oromocto Panthers Middle School Football

About the Team

Up until 2004 the Oromocto Middle School team was called the Leopards and was made up of students from Harold Peterson Middle School and Ridgeview Middle School. Because of a large number of players coming up from the two Oromocto Mosquito teams, a decision was made to try and form two Middle School teams in Oromocto. In 2005 the Leopards changed their name to the Panthers. Students from both Ridgeview and Harold Peterson were on the 2005 Panthers team. In 2006 with the formation of the Oromocto Tigers for the Ridgeview students, the Panthers became a team primarily made up of students attending Harold Peterson Middle School. Students attending Ecole Ste. Anne or any other middle school in the Capital Area without a team are also eligible to play for the Panthers.
