#1 – Running Back Sweep

Note:  Make sure running backs are moving when pitch out is made. The ball carrier should take what the defence gives them. Getting outside and down the sideline is the ideal result of this play. However, if the CB plays his position correctly the play will be turned inside. In this case the ball carrier should run up the "alley" created by his blockers.
In order to create additional blocking power should consider having the play side guard "pull" out on the snap and go around the end as an additional blocker.
