End of the Crusade: The Fredericton Crusaders, made up of students
from George Street Middle School, completed a
perfect peewee football season by defeating the previously
unbeaten Hampton Huskies 15-6 Sunday at Scotiabank Park North. Ian
Carty scored a pair of touchdowns to give the Crusaders all they
would need on this day. It marked the fourth straight year teams
from the Capital Area Minor Football Association have swept the
provincial minor football championships. Members of the winning
