Devon Mosquito Knights- About the Team

The Knights were one of the original teams in the Mosquito League when it was established in 1999. The nickname "Knights" has a long history going back almost to the beginning of minor football in Fredericton (circa. 1973). The nickname use died out for a while and was revived when the Mosquito League began. From 1999 until 2001 the team was known as the Devon Knights. In 2002 the team name was changed to the Northside Knights. In 2007 the team became known, once again, as the Devon Knights.
