About the Team

Up until 1998 the football team for 14-15 year olds on the north side of Fredericton was known as the Posse. In 1999 permission was given by the new Leo Hayes High School to use the Lions nickname and colours. The team is operated by the Capital Area Minor Football Association. It is not operated by Leo Hayes High School. Bantam football is not a New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association sport.
