About the Team

The Rams nickname was used for a Southside PeeWee team until 1996. In 1997 PeeWee football in the Capital Area switched from 9 player to 12 player. The Rams were merged with the Rough Riders and adopted the latter's nickname. The name was reactivated in 1999 when the Mosquito League was established.
