2000 Season Oct. 28 Championship Game Rams 22 Grizzlies 16 Derek Madsen's two touchdowns paced the Rams to the league championship. Fraser Boldon scored their other six pointer with John Chin booting two converts. Jordan Heather and Patrick Hibbs had the Grizzlies majors. Iain Parsons kicked a field goal and Daniel Reid booted a single Oct. 28 Third Place Game Knights 22 Axemen 14 MacKenzie Washburn, Mike Washburn and Elliott Thompson scored touchdowns to lead the Knights to victory. Mathieu Malone added two converts. Jake Thomas scored both Axemen majors with Dillon Theriault kicking a convert. Oct. 21 Semi-Final Game Rams 27 Axemen 16 The Rams got two touchdowns from Derek Madsen and one from Ben Thompson. John Chin added three converts and a field goal. Jake Thomas and Scott Munn scored the Axemen majors while Dillen Theriault and Shawn Spencer added converts. Oct. 21 Semi-Final Game Grizzlies 24 Knights 0 Iain Parsons had a touchdown, two converts and a single to lead the Grizzlies to victory. Daniel Pirie and Patrick Hibbs scored the other six pointers while Daniel Reid booted a single. Oct. 21 Quarter Final Game Axemen 22 Rough Riders 6 The Axemen got touchdowns from Scott McIsaac, Dillen Theriault and Jake Thomas. Theriault was good on two of three convert attempts. Andrew Hickey scored the lone Riders major. Oct. 14 Rams 32 Rough Riders 0 Derek Madsen scored two touchdowns while Jon Mann and Craig Prime had one each to lead the Rams to victory. John Chin converted all four touchdowns. Grizzlies 28 Axemen 8 The Grizzlies got touchdowns from Patrick Hibbs, Iain Parsons, Daniel Pirie and Trevor Beswick. Parsons added two converts. Scott MacIsaac scored the Axemen six pointer and Shawn Spencer converted. Oct. 12 Grizzlies 12 Knights 0 Daniel Reid and Ian Parsons scored the Grizzlies majors. Rams 40 Axemen 8 The Rams got two touchdowns from Fraser Boldon and one each from Derek Madsen, Mark Buckingham and Jon Mann. John Chin was good on all five conversions. Ryan Soles scored the Axemen six pointer and Shawn Spencer added the convert. Oct. 2 Rams 25 Grizzlies 25 Two very evenly matched teams battled to a hard fought draw. Iain Parsons was a one man wrecking crew for the Grizzlies scoring three touchdowns, kicking three converts and a single. Derek Madsen had the Rams three majors with John Chin adding three converts and a single. Knights 14 Rough Riders 0 Mitchell Cormier rambled for two touchdowns and Mathieu Malone booted a convert to pace the Knights to a shutout victory. Sept. 30 Knights 15 Rams 9 Chris Murray rumbled for two touchdowns for the Knights. Mathieu Malone booted a convert and MacKenzie Washburn ran for a convert. Mark Buckingham had the Rams touchdown. John Chin kicked a field goal. Axemen 16 Rough Riders 14 Scott Murphy and Jake Thomas had touchdowns while Sean Spencer booted two converts to lead the Axemen to victory. Nick Hawkins ran for both Rider six pointers and Andrew Hickey added the convert. Sept. 25 Grizzlies 20 Rough Riders 7 The Grizzlies got two touchdowns from Trevor Beswick and a touchdown and convert from Patrick Hibbs. Andrew Hickey had a touchdown and single for the Riders. Knights 1 Axemen 0 Mitchel Cormier booted a single to give the Knights the win. Sept. 23 Grizzlies 23 Axemen 0 The Grizzlies got two touchdowns from Chris Bruce and one touchdown and two converts from Patrick Hibbs. Daniel Pirie added a single. Rams 16 Riders 6 Derek Madsen paced the Ram's attack with two TD's while John Chin booted both converts. Andrew Hickey accounted for the Riders' lone major. Sept. 18 Rams 36 Axemen 22 The Rams got two touchdowns from Jon Mann and one each from Brent Hawthorne, Connor Embleton and Mark Buckingham. John Chin added three converts. Dillon Theriault had two touchdowns and two converts for the Axemen while Jason Grey added a six pointer. Grizzlies 8 Knights 8 Patrick Hibb's touchdown on the last play of the game lifted the Grizzlies to the tie. Iain Parsons booted the convert. MacKenzie Washburn returned a punt for the Knights six pointer while Mathieu Malone added the convert. Sept. 16 Rams 20 Grizzlies 8 Derek Madsen, Matthew Legere and Craig Prime had the Rams TD's with John Chin adding a convert. Trevor Beswick had the Grizzlies touchdown. Iain Parsons added the convert. Knights 14 Rough Riders 6 Elliott Thompson scored both Knights touchdowns with Mathieu Malone adding a convert. Nick Hawkins had the Riders six pointer. Sept. 11 Axemen 24 Knights 14 Scott McIsaac scored two majors for the Axemen, and Jason Grey had the other TD. Dillon Theriault rounded out the scoring with 3 converts. MacKenzie Washburn accounted for 12 of the Knights points with two touchdowns and Matt Malone rounded out the scoring with a convert. Riders 30 Grizzlies 9 Andrew Hickey rumbled in for two majors and booted three converts to pave the way for the winners, while Sandy MacLean and Kevin Stewart rounded out the scoring each with a touchdown of their own. Patrick Hibbs replied with a TD for the Grizzlies, while Iain Parsons booted the converts. The Grizzlies also scored a single on a punt. Sept. 9 Rams 8 Knights 8 It was a defensive battle in the season-opener for both teams. Matt Legere had the touchdown for the Rams while John Chin kicked the convert. Andrew McCarthy replied for the Knights and Mitchel Cormier converted the touchdown. Axemen 52 Riders 26 In an offensive shoot-out, Dillen Theriault led the way for the Axemen, scoring 2 touchdowns and adding 4 converts. Nicholas Boudreau and Ryan Soles also had two touchdowns, while Jason Grey and Jake Thomas added the others. Andrew Hickey had 2 touchdowns and a convert in a losing cause for the Riders while Nick Hawkins and Mike Carrier also scored majors. |
